Jeri is originally from Paris, Texas. The oldest of five children and the daughter of a hardware store owner. She learned most of what she needed to know about life from her Daddy and that store over the next 10 years. She graduated from Paris Junior College in 1989 and worked as a RN at a local hospital until completing a BSN in 1993 and a MSN in 1996 from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been a licensed and board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 1996. The majority of her almost 30 years in practice has been in primary care. She received a Patient's Choice Award in 2024 which required achieving above the 99th percentile in all areas. However, her greatest achievement is her family - being a wife and mother and GiGi to Logan, Roman, and Landon.
